HISTORY

International Conference on Contemporary Social and Political Affairs (ICoCSPA) is an international conference held by the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP), Universitas Airlangga. It was first held in 2015 as part of the 61st anniversary of FISIP University of Airlangga’s natalist dies. Initially, ICoCSPA was held under the name ICoDA (International Conference on Democracy Accountability).

In 2016, the name ICoDA changed to ICoCSPA to date. Each year, ICoCSPA receives hundreds of abstract participants who register to participate in the event. Of the abstracts that have been entered will be screened first before declared eligible to attend the presentation at the conference.

ICoCSPA is an annual event held regularly and in 2018 is entering the fourth year of operation. ICoCSPA raises the social and political issues that are being discussed in academic circles as well as some who have intense problems that become the major theme of the conference. OBJECTIVES

  • Building a forum for the exchange of knowledge ideas and research among academics of social and political sciences.
  • Building networks among academics and professionals within the scope of Social Sciences and Political Science.
  • Enrich academic ability and provide enlightenment to faculty, undergraduate and postgraduate through presentation and publication.
  • Adding dissemination of scientific work and research.
